Winter Planning

Most of us have put away our gardening tools for the winter, except maybe some pruning tools that we will use to do our winter pruning. But now is a great time to assess your garden and landscape to plan for the new season coming in the spring. It helps to make a list of priorities and plan from there.

What areas of the yard need the most work? Lawn, shrubs, trees, patios or garden areas?

What new features would you like to add? Fire pit, patio, bird feeding, herb garden, flowers, lighting?

Are there problem areas that need to be repaired or replaced? Lawn damage, overgrown shrubs, damaged plants or hardscape?

Make your lists now and prioritize them, then you can start planning what to do and what to budget.
