According to WCIA weather, the C-U/Savoy areas got around 8.3 inches. This may have broken a record from the early '80's. In the meantime, crews were out for over 12 hours getting through the worst of the snow pack. Unfortunately, it was a heavier, wet snow which made it a bit more difficult to get through.
SIDEWALKS: Crews will be out on Monday to finish cleaning up walks after they get some rest. The way the snow melted down is causing a problem for our snow blowers to get through. We appreciate your patience through this surprise Thanksgiving weekend snow.
